Beckett kept us on our toes again. Immediately as Jaclyn and I went to bed he woke up. We had to give in and let him sleep in the bed. When he woke up again at 3 we were pretty nervous because we didn’t have the bribe of sleeping in the bed to get him to go back down. Luckily, we somehow got him back down again and we at least slept a little more.
In the morning we all hung out and Jaclyn and I got a head start on the project of packing everything up again (for the last time!). We tried to put Beckett down for his nap around but he wasn’t having it. So, instead, we changed the plans and rushed out the door to go to a farm action/water park…yes it’s really that strange…Uncle Ron had to take a few calls so he stayed behind and would catchup with us.

Upon arriving to the farm action/water park we thought we were in the wrong place because there were no cars, no water and a sign that talked about buying top soil. Luckily, we wound around the building and found everything. This was literally a farm on a river that someone had converted into a cool water park! Naomi was very nice and convinced us to get the all access passes and then insisted on paying (thank you again!).
We setup shop on the beach and Brooke and Jaclyn started playing on the kids Wibit. For those that don’t know, a Wibit is a water based obstacle course. I wasn’t allowed on the kids Wibit so I eventually convinced them to go on the bigger one. I pretty much immediately (accidentally) pushed Jaclyn down one of the sides of the obstacles and into the water, whoops!
Naomi and Ron were very nice and watching Beckett in the stroller. In fact, as Beckett fell asleep, Ron had a sweet foot catching move so Beckett wouldn’t startle himself and wake up.
We all figured out pretty quickly that it was way harder then it looks and the 12 year old kids put us to shame. Brooke was really freaking out because she thought we would fall in but eventually we calmed her down. We went around various obstacles and swam around others. Then eventually we went back to check on Ron and Naomi.
After seeing Beckett sound asleep Brooke went back into the kids Wibit and Jaclyn and I went on the water slide. This water slide was insane/awesome. It was completely straight and I swear it was at least 40MPH as you skidded across the water when you launched off the bottom of it. We could barely talk as we came up from the water. Jaclyn because she was in shock and me because I was laughing so hard at the insanity of a harmless looking slide. Sadly, Jaclyn wouldn’t do it again lol.
After that, Naomi convinced us to do the cable tow. I grabbed the wake board and Jaclyn had a board that you stand forward facing on. For the next hour or two, everyone would be witness to us constantly crashing and not getting up. Jaclyn’s first attempt involved her getting towed face first across the water for quite a while since she didn’t want to let go. After a few tries she switched to a sitting board which she mastered on the first try. It took me like 7 tries to finally get up on the wakeboard (way harder then behind a boat), but I finally did!

I was really happy I finally did succeed because Brooke sometimes struggles with giving up when things aren’t easy so I wanted to her to see me finally succeed!
We took one more stop on the Wibit and then headed home. Thank you again to Ron and Naomi for helping out with the kids. Jaclyn and I felt like we were kids again!

We all went home and got cleaned up. Ron grilled us some brats for dinner, which were great, and we tried to continue to make a dent in the amount of cooked food we had leftover in the fridge. After dinner I spoke with Naomi for a while about her tips and thoughts on our Japan trip, thank you! Jaclyn went for a run on the final night of our trip. Which was only her second run of the trip which tells you how busy we were!
We went to bed on the final real night of our road trip happy and tired!
